Whether you’re a long-time resident of Naples or you’re moving to Naples, you probably know of The Pewter Mug. The restaurant has been around for almost 50 years. As you drive along 41 towards Bonita, the Naples restaurant is nearly impossible to miss. However, the restaurant recently closed its doors at the original location and will reopen at a new site.
About The New Location of the Naples Restaurant
If you enjoyed the original location of the iconic restaurant, you need not worry. The new location is only about two miles north. It will still be off of U.S 41 near the Collier-Lee County line.
In early May, The Pewter Mug will reopen at the new location. Although the great food will remain the same, the size of the establishment will not. The new site at 12300 U.S. 41 N. is over 2,000 square-feet larger than the original. This extra space is much-needed; the popular restaurant attracts many diners both in-season and out-of-season.
The new location is not new to great food. In the past, Naples Tomato and Fish Crazy occupied the building. Although those restaurants didn’t endure the tests of time, they both served up some fantastic food. One can only expect that the Pewter Mug will continue to produce excellent food in the new location.
What to Expect of the Restaurant
When you visit this Naples restaurant, you can expect to find some of the best slow-roasted prime rib in the area. Additionally, you can partake in a one-of-a-kind salad bar. With every entree ordered by a customer, there is unlimited access to the salad bar and unlimited soup. The salad bar boasts many different offerings and is sure to please the most discerning of visitors.
Of course, the restaurant has much more to offer than a salad bar. The steak is exceptional.
